Narahari Betta:

Narahari Parvatha Sadashiva Temple is located at a distance of 28 Kms from Mangalore in Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada district. Narahari Parvatha is surrounded by panoramic scenes and fascinating greeneries.
This is one of the oldest temples and it is located on the top of the hill. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. One has to climb the hill to reach the temple.

The Entrance:

This Shiva temple is a place where Nara and Hari, incarnations of Lord Vishnu were supposed to have performed penance. Shravan Amavasya is considered to be one of the most auspices day as per Hindu calendar.  Devotees dip themselves in the Narahari pond in their quest to attain salvation and get freed from their sins.
